CaddyUp was developed from seeing food-waste collection challenges at ground level. The product focuses on one simple issue: giving households a practical, dedicated outdoor place to keep their caddy between collections.

For councils and waste partnerships, CaddyUp can sit alongside resident communications and food-waste rollout programmes as a practical way to help residents store their caddy outside, keep it accessible and avoid it becoming another awkward item on the ground.

The idea started with a straightforward observation: there was a better way to store a food-waste caddy outdoors. Instead of stopping at the idea, WealdWorks turned it into an outdoor wall and fence bracket, tested it, changed it and kept improving it.
